8 week YIDL Foundation Course

The yoga exercises from Level 1 in the Yoga in Daily Life System are called Sarav Hitta Asanas, which means "exercises good for all". The YIDL Foundation Course combines Level 1 practice and an introduction to the philosophical science of yoga and meditation. This course is designed for beginners as well as those who want to build a firm foundation to their existing practice.

Includes yoga exercises to increase flexibility and strength of muscles and improve the function of internal organs; yogic breathing to reduce stress and anxiety; traditional pranayama; deep relaxation; meditation techniques; and practical philosophy to enhance and assist your daily life.

Dates: 12 September - 31 October 2012
Time:  Wednesday evenings 6.30-8.30pm
Fees:   £70 / £60 conc. - 8 sessions (including printed handouts)
           £90 / £80 conc. - Course + unlimited Drop-in classes for duration of Course
